A supraorbital artery is a branch of ophthalmic artery [ramus arteriae ophthalmicae ] which is located in the superomedial part of the orbit [orbita ] and above, where it irrigates the upper eyelid [palpebra superior ], the levator muscle of eyelid [musculus levator palpebrae superioris ], the diploe [diploe calvariae ], the frontal sinus [sinus frontalis ] and the integuments of the forehead [].
